We are working on FixOurFood, a 5-year research programme led by the University of York. FixOurFood has a vision to transform food systems across the UK towards being ‘regenerative’.
We are a key partner on the FixOurFood in Schools element of the programme. The team will be working in and with schools and nurseries in Yorkshire to transform food menus, environments, education and procurement. We aim to reduce inequalities in health and diet quality early in life and bring about dietary change more broadly. One example of this is our focus on improving food provision over school holidays - in summer 2021 we undertook an evaluation of the Holiday and Activities Fund programme.
